Within the agency, there are two types of people: the ‘sweater weather’ aficionados, and those like me, who are in ‘fall denial’ and wish summer would never end. But one thing that has me very enthusiastic to get into the fall season despite the colder days, are all the exciting projects coming our way!
Summertime has its perks, and for us in the Montreal office it was another quarter of growth as we welcomed new teammates, locked in a few trips to Toronto and across the world, received wonderful visitors, and celebrated the arrival of two babies.
Here is a recap of what the Montreal team has been up to, and what’s to come!
It’s all about the people
In the last Montreal update, I started dropping hints and spoilers that our ongoing recruitment campaign was seeing success entering Q3. Well, here’s another spoiler… it continues to be successful! We had the pleasure of welcoming Gaëlle Khairallah, our newest account manager to the Montreal office, and I may or may not have more recruitment updates to share in the next quarterly update…!
We also organized a surprise baby shower for our wonderful Catherine Buteau and received visits from 10 (wow!) of our Toronto colleagues over the quarter. Each of them came to work from our office for a few days, thanks to the Curiosity Fund, our company’s annual professional development benefit.
Engaging communities and leaders around our clients’ key topics
Nurturing relationships with communities that are key to our clients has always been a central part of our approach to public relations. In Q3, we’ve been especially successful engaging key public entities, universities, research bodies and economic leaders in both regional and federal levels around topics that matters, including work and consumer trends. This led to the publication of original pieces of content, to face-to-face interactions with industry leaders, reshare of key findings, and more promising opportunities for one of our major clients in the HR space.
Up next in fall
All the projects we have in stock will be as colourful as Québec’s fall landscapes. Whether they are Québec-born or national mandates, the team will be working plenty of our Francophone PR magic for our incredible clients.
