As the warmth of spring melted away the remnants of winter, our third quarter was a whirlwind of agency activity. From sector wins to team celebrations to a big office move, summer hasn’t slowed us down. But not to worry, everyone is still getting their vacation time! Amidst the hustle and bustle, it is important to look back and recognize the milestones that make our team not just a workforce, but a community.
A new postal code
After 10 years at 34 King Street, K&P packed our boxes and moved west… by a block and half. We had outgrown the space and it no longer reflected who we are as a team so we are excited for a more flexible, team-first environment. We have taken up residence at 320 Bay Street while we plan our shiny new permanent home.
Marketing Communications in action
Our marcom team has been very busy the last few months with increased client mandates that see us getting innovative technology into the hands of consumers, helping Canadians find affordable ways to fly and working to promote more affordable, accessible and sustainable housing. We love working in partnership with our fantastic, collaborative clients.
Technology trends
Tech is certainly buzzing with activity as well. June saw the launch of one of our long-standing clients’ 8th annual study on cybersecurity trends. The study found that while total cyber incidents are down year-over-year, the number of successful breaches are up, potentially meaning that hackers are becoming more sophisticated in their attacks. There is never a lack of topics for our tech team to share with Canadians!

Recognition of outstanding team members
Career growth is an always-on initiative at K&P. We are thrilled to recognize Emily Ellis, who was promoted to senior account manager due in part to her growth as a team leader internally, and in her external leadership on corporate services accounts. We are also celebrating Keera Hart, who was promoted to senior account director. Keera’s dedication, strategic thinking and tenacity in driving results for her clients is a key driver of success in the financial services practice. We are a better team for the contributions of these individuals.
What’s ahead?
While I’m not personally ready for summer to end, Fall is always an exciting time at the agency. We had a strong focus on talent development and recruitment over the summer to ensure we have the right team in place to continue to deliver strategic communications and exceptional results for our current and incoming clients.
