And just like that, January is over and we’re one month into 2023! While we’re certainly looking forward to longer days ahead (with more sun, please?), we’ve still had a lot to celebrate as we look back on the last few months and our first (fiscal) quarter at K&P.
New clients drove rapid growth in Marketing Communications
We are thrilled to welcome our new clients in Marcom to the K&P team, and so honoured they have placed their trust in us to achieve their PR objectives. We are well underway in delivering new, creative, strategic programs that raise awareness and build brand affinity. Ray McIlroy and his team constantly impress me with how much thought and enthusiasm they bring to each engagement.
Our financial teams are on a roll!
A few new clients joined our Financial & Fintech, and Financial Services practice groups at the end of 2022, adding both breadth and depth to our roster. We’ve also been engaged in new, exciting mandates from existing clients that will undoubtedly reaffirm why these organizations are leaders in their fields. From insurance to investment to financial associations, Maggie Hall (Financial & Fintech) and Keera Hart’s (Financial Services) teams bring a thoughtful, informed approach to each project they undertake.

This is key to increasing the opportunity and frequency that communications reach the stakeholders that matter to your business. As a cross-industry practice lead, Janessa Bishop and her team artfully wield the tools of our trade to support more mandates than ever before at K&P.
Team growth
It’s easy to see how client success could lead to individual success and career growth within our team, so we would also like to celebrate a few staff who joined K&P over the last few months!
Dhanya joined us in November as a senior account coordinator in the Marketing Communications group. She brings valuable experience in content development and social media marketing to her role and we are thrilled to put her creativity, thoughtful approach and industry experience to use on account teams.
With exciting and consistent growth in our technology sector, it was time to appoint a new leader to oversee and guide the future of the practice. We found that in Madison Hawkins, senior account director and Technology practice lead, who joined in November. Madison brings years of agency and tech-specific expertise to the role and has the breadth and depth of experience to deliver massive impact through communications strategies.
Bringing a background in consumer PR from Paris, France, Marion Parquet joined the team in Montréal this November as well! Marion’s diverse client experience spans a number of sectors, which has been valuable to her client teams in contributing new ideas, insights and tactics. Bienvenue, Marion!
Following the completion of her internship, we were pleased to offer Yevgeniya Yan a full time position as account coordinator in our Corporate Services group. Yevgeniya has proved to be an asset to her teams in the areas of research, media relations and measurement. We’re thrilled she is staying on at K&P.
Veronica Chung
Our newest full-time hire and first in 2023, is Veronica Chung, an account coordinator in the Financial Services practice group. Veronica joined the team in January and has already demonstrated talent in media relations and keeping up with, and advising teams on industry news and trends.
We are also pleased to welcome Mara Zentil-Casey who joined us as a fall intern and Yimen Zhu who joined as a winter intern and are supporting teams across practice groups.
