Position: Account Manager, Digital and Social Media
Location: Toronto, Ottawa or Montréal (hybrid)

Kaiser & Partners, Inc., an award-winning public relations firm with offices in Toronto, Ottawa and Montréal, is looking to add to its dynamic team. This position will include providing strategic counsel and executing digital and social media campaigns for a variety of high-prestige clients across sectors, including technology, consumer and professional services.

The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, proven experience in digital communications and social media, have confidence working with senior-level clients, be resourceful, creative and a true team player who can work independently. We are seeking someone who is passionate about all things digital, and can bring new, creative ideas to help enhance our clients’ online presence.

Please note: this position is hybrid, with the ideal candidate being based in either Ottawa, Toronto or Montréal.

What your role will look like:

  • Contribute to the development of innovative and strategic social media and digital campaigns that deliver measurable results for clients
  • Develop social media strategy and plans for clients
  • Responsible for some client social accounts, including community management
  • Support with issue and crisis response on social media
  • Develop social media and digital content, social media guidelines and policies
  • Oversee social listening, monitoring and reporting activities
  • Contribute to the firm’s business development initiatives
  • Research and support in the development of client mandates
  • Work closely with visual communications team to deliver impactful content
  • Supervise and mentor staff

What you’re good at:

  • Relevant degree in and 3-5 years of experience in digital communications and social media, ideally within an agency environment
  • Experience in social media and digital strategy, and social listening, monitoring and reporting
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills, comfortable engaging directly with senior-level clients
  • A self-starter with superior writing skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in managing large-scale, integrated client programs
  • Paid social media experience (boosting or advertising) an asset
  • Business-to-business (B2B) communications experience an asset
  • Knowledge and use of social media platforms (Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Social Pilot, etc.) an asset
  • Knowledge and use of social advertising platforms (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Ads, etc.) an asset
