With four years as a story editor and producer at TSN under his belt, it’s not surprising to learn Duane Turner is a huge sports fan. Duane officially joined the K&P team this month as our newest Account Manager and has already hit the ground running. He’s no rookie though; let’s learn a bit more about him.

I love the challenge of not just upholding, but positively building upon the positive image a company or brand has in the eyes of the media.
What has been your proudest career moment to date?
Playing the lead role in creating the Canadian Porter-Brown Society, an employee resource group for Black teammates and People of Colour within Labatt Breweries at a time that it was strongly needed.
What are you looking forward to in your new role at K&P?
After four years of working at The Sports Network (TSN), I took part in the distribution of media content, but in this role, I am excited to play a big part in the pitches and briefs among other written material that factor in the content being published. I’m also looking forward to working with the exceptionally talented individuals at K&P who will undoubtedly make me better each and every day.

My favorite series on TV right now would be the FX show, Snowfall.
What does your playlist look like?
My playlist is filled with mostly North American and UK R&B, mixed in with some 90’s and early 00’s hip hop.
